Hello fellow food lovers! Welcome to my website and into my kitchen and happy little life. My lifelong love of food began when I was a child- with family meals being such a central part of my upbringing, from the preparation to the clean-up. Traveling, learning, testing, tasting, and exploring built my knowledge and approach to cooking that drives my food preparations today. That being said, I never stop learning and taking in new inspiration from so many talented food creators from around the globe. When it comes to cooking, my main focus is developing flavor while keeping food fresh, approachable, and something to gather around a table for. For me, it’s not just about the food but the way it brings people together and creates memories.

I am a California native by birth, and the proud daughter of a Chilean father who immigrated to the United States to study and an Italian-American mother. Both my mom and dad had such an impact on my relationship with food and why it is such a big part of my life. I lived in San Salvador, El Salvador and Miami, Florida as a young girl before ultimately moving to Arizona in 1999 with my family. I am a Psychology graduate of Arizona State University- Go Sun Devils! In 2019, I moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Dublin, Ireland after meeting the love of my life on a business trip to London. Christopher is a fellow food, wine, and life lover and we have had so much fun exploring our different cultures and approaches and learning, eating and drinking together! We began keeping bees together in 2020 and what an adventure that has been with a very sweet sticky edible benefit of pure raw honey! We are now a happy family of three since we welcomed our beautiful son Sebastian into the world in September 2020. He too is growing into a little foodie as I make him vibrant, flavor packed, texture rich foods that feed his brain and taste buds!

The name “It’s a Beautiful Bite” is a play on a favorite saying, “It’s a Beautiful Life” … and that it is! Thank you for sharing the joy of cooking, entertaining and feeding people with me- let’s enjoy this beautiful life together one tasty bite and sip at a time!
