There is something so satisfying about running your knife or fork through the yolk and watching it cover what it's resting on in it's beautiful velvety fatty goodness.
The 5 things you'll need:
An egg (or however many you'd like to eat)
Medium sized pot
Flat slotted spoon (free of sharp edges or spikes)
Fill a medium sized sauce pan 3/4 full of water.
Add 2 teaspoons white vinegar
Bring water to a rolling boil
Once at a rolling boil, lower to medium-high heat (stop rolling).
Crack egg and drop into water- about 3 inches from water.
Time for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Remove with slotted spoon and place on paper towel.
Remove from paper towel and place on toast, plate or whatever you'd like to serve it on and enjoy the velvety yellow goodness!
