A California native by birth, Vanessa Rose Valero is the proud daughter of a Chilean father who immigrated to the United States to study and an Italian-American mother. She lived in San Salvador, El Salvador and Miami, Florida as a young girl before ultimately moving to Arizona in 1999 with her family.
Vanessa was involved in beauty pageants growing up and has won numerous titles, most notably Miss Teen Christian America in 2004 and NAM Miss Arizona in 2009. In her pageant experience, she advocated on behalf of a wide variety of political causes and issues and was humbled to be asked to speak alongside respected political and business leaders, including Laura Bush, Steve Forbes and Colin Powell.
Vanessa worked for Trinity Broadcasting Network for over a decade as the station’s Director of Public and Community Affairs where she developed, produced, wrote and was featured in several shows in TBN’s family of faith-based programming. She also oversaw the network’s extensive multi-platform outreach and philanthropic activities to faith communities, non-profits and governmental organizations and serves in leadership positions on various charity boards.
Vanessa has also served as a television correspondent at many prominent sporting and fundraising events here in the Valley, such as the Cactus League, the Super Bowl and Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night. She has served as a guest host for nationally syndicated radio shows and has appeared in various print and television ads. An International Leadership Fellow of Society of Leadership Fellows, St. George's House, Windsor Castle. A board member of the Arizona Governor's Prayer Breakfast, Arizona Law Enforcement Prayer Breakfast and Joni and Friends Arizona, Vanessa dedicates hundreds of hours each year to numerous charities as an emcee and as a volunteer.
Vanessa is a proud graduate of Arizona State University and dog mom to her two spoiled furbabies, Sparkle and Ruby. She loves to travel and is passionate about great cooking at home.
